The fourth day of Balkan Classic Rallye 2018 served near 200 kilometers timed sections. It was a fast route, but with very tricky navigation, and the most part of the competitors had some difficulties with some points.
The Datsun of Geoff Bell and Mattias Adielson was the fastest in the beginning, but a problem with the wheel slowed down the tempo of the crew. Despite this, the duo made 3rd best time in the first CS, behind Andrew Siddall and Bertrand Pierrat.
The second stage saw Bell as fastest pilot and the South African pilot took the daily win. Second place for the other Datsun of the rally – that of Andrew Siddal.
With their third time of the day, Bertrand Pierrat and Andree Hansen still hold the overall lead, but behind theme there are changes. Patrick De Frahan had navigation problems, as well as damage of the suspension, and Philippe Moortgat had to drive with flat tire near 30 kms. This made change in the overall top 3, where now appear the Datsuns of Siddall and Bell, with only one minute between.
Pierrat and Hansen had more or less comfortable advance of 16 minutes, but wil this be enough to catch the win of Balkan Classic 2018? We will see today!
